My Built Environment: Good, Bad, and Really Ugly

This blog is dedicated to my musings and views on the built environment, including, but not limited to planning, landscape architecture, architecture, and place making. Terence Hoaglund, RLA, LEED AP, is the principal of Vignette Studios, a planning and landscape architecture firm located in Fort Collins, Colorado. Terence has been planning and designing residential and commercial communities throughout Colorado for over 20 years. Some of the projects include Harvest in Fort Collins, parts of Lowry in Denver, Legacy Ridge West in Westminster, Wildgrass in Broomfield, St Michaels Town Center in Greeley, the Fort Collins Police Facility, and many more.

Terence is also proud to have provided design assistance and support to Fort Collins Habitat for Humanity for over 10 years.

In addition to Vignette Studios, Terence is also a partner in Ecosphere Investments, a land holding and development company. Their current project is Midori in Northwest Fort Collins. Terence also has a homebuilding subsidiary, BlueStone Homes of Colorado whose focus is building affordable environmentally sustainable homes.
